Assignment #5 Final INFO

Wednesday is the Final turn in for Assignment 5. Please have your assignments ready to watch at the start of class. NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER CLASS.

Great job on your final projects. They are looking great. If you do not have a grade for the rough, please email me with your link so you can have some changes to work on for the final.

Class tomorrow

Please make it to the class/lab tomorrow. It will be valuable time to work together on your projects.

Horrible internet

It took me a few hours to look through your projects because of crazy slow internet here. If you did not get a response, let me know. You should have turned in 5 frames animated in a 30 sec video. Narration and music should have been added. If you are missing any of these add them, upload it and email me and keep moving towards the rough. Good work everyone.

Remember to make the video private with the agreed password.

This company makes plugins for vfx in AE. I imagine most all of the visual effects done in this were done in AE.

Assignment 3 - Animated Logo

Now, with the next assignment...review the syllabus. I want a 10 - 15 (not 20) second animated logo. I don't want something simple for this. Find a few intros and get some ideas. Here is some good reference.




Also, look up the intro to your favorite shows. I want something more like the revolution or once upon a time intros, not the lost intro. For Tuesday, have some links to some example logos you want to base your logo animation after. The Style Frames are due on the 15th so you have a little time to really hone in an idea for this one. Please use this time wisely to brainstorm a great idea.  I will not be In class Thursday (the 3rd) or Tuesday (the 8th). I will give you a tutorial on tuesday that I want you to watch in place of class that will go over the specifics of what is required for the Style Frames. Please treat these like lab days and really make this logo stand by itself in coolness!

- Download VideoDownloadHelper (for student project audio aquisition)
- Once installed, navigate to desired content.
- Click on the animated icon.
- Select Media.
- Select the mp4 of your choice. (usually it says "medium")

VIP tour

We have a VIP tour coming through our offices (at work) that I need to be a part of. I may be a little late to class (11 to 11:15 ish is my guess). Please have your roughs ready on your blog at the beginning of class. I will get there as soon as I can.
